Network Rail's Class 31/4 No. 31465 is pictured with research vehicle No's. 72612, 999605 and DBSO 9701 heading north at Willington, Derbyshire on Monday 4th March 2013. The formation was heading back towards Derby following a test run over the Burton-on-Trent to Leicester freight-only line to Knighton Junction. Later in the day the test train also made a return trip from Derby over the North Staffs route to Stoke-on-Trent.
