A busy morning at Kentish Town on Monday 4th March 2013 and FCC Class 377 No. 377510 arrives in Platform 1 with a special stop on the 8-car 09:54 train from Bedford to Brighton to pick up around 200 passengers off the failed 09:48 from Bedford to Elephant & Castle. FCC Class 319 No. 319001 was the guilty party and can be seen on the left in Platform 3. In a slick operation that would be a credit to any TOC, the passengers were kept well-informed by the driver following the initial traction motor failure at Hendon. Less than 5 minutes elapsed between the two trains at Kentish Town and the overall delay was under ten minutes.
