The 08:20 Hull - Manchester Piccadilly working passes Chinley on 10th May 1984, formed by a hybrid formation consisting mainly of Class 123 DMU cars but also a single Class 124 DMU car during the Trans-Pennine units last month in service. Asbestos-ridden, sadly none of these two classes was preserved.
