GB Railfreight Class 66/7 No. 66702 'Blue Lightning' is pictured approaching the Egginton Road level crossing, a short distance after having passed Egginton Junction signalbox, located on Crewe to Derby (North Staffs route) on 5th February 2013 while powering 6L28, 04:36 Carlisle NY to Whitemoor Yard. The train, comprising of differing wagon types, some of which were conveying spent ballast due for recycling.
