Class 66 No. 66058 approaches North Stafford Junction, Derbyshire on Friday 1st February 2013 with the 04:56 Liverpool Bulk Terminal to Ratcliffe Power Station coal train. The photograph shows the train, comprising of loaded bogie hopper wagons, approaching the junction after traversing the North Staffs route via Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter. A red signal prior to the junction necessitated the train having to wait a few minutes before it was allowed to proceed and join the main Birmingham to Derby line to Stenson Junction where the train diverged onto the freight line via Castle Donington and onwards towards Toton, where the locomotive would run round the train prior to proceeding on to its destination for unloading its consignment of imported coal.
