Burlington Northern E9 No. 9900 has just arrived at the Route 59 park and ride station with METRA train 1243 the 17:20 Chicago Union to Route 59 on Wednesday 20th May 1992. The big twin-engined E units were seeing out their last days on this line having worked it since the 1950's.
