Taken at an exceptionally wet Lydd Town on 24th November 2012 is Hastings DEMU No. 1001, showing power car No. S60116 nearest the camera. The tour was 1Z21 the Canterbury Tales tour which started from Hastings and ran via London Blackfriars, Rochester and Canterbury West. The DEMU was on the final leg of it's journey to Dungeness. The line (now freight only) originally ran to New Ronmey before closure along with Lydd Town in 1967.
