A4 Pacific No.60026 Miles Beevor at Crewe Works on 28th May 1967 minus tender.The A4 had been withdrawn on 21st December 1965 and was sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckows at North Blyth,Northumberland in August 1967 and was scrapped in January 1968.The A4 was taked to Crewe Works in order to supply parts for the preservation of 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley.
