Ex-NER Class E1 (reclassified to Class J72) 0-6-0T No. 69023 'Joem' is pictured in steam at a snow-covered Haworth Yard (KWVR) on 8th February 1969. This locomotive had been scheduled to work the service trains between Keighley and Oxenhope on this day but due to operational problems the Prototype English Electric 0-6-0 diesel shunter No. D226 'Vulcan' substituted.
