Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48254 at 20B Stourton (Leeds) on 17th July 1966. Two months later in September she was withdrawn at Westhouses (observed there by me on 9th October), and finally scrapped in November 1966. This was one of the War Department 8F's and carried the number WD70378.
To the left can be seen Class 25 No. D5193 which under TOPS became 25043. It was withdrawn at Derby Works on 1st February 1981 and scrapping was completed on 25th September 1981.
