On 3rd February 1981 sees MLV No. 68001 races through Ashford Station bound for London Victoria via Tonbridge, Orpington and Chilselhurst Junc leading a 12 CEP formation form Dover Western Docks. Today, such a sight is impossible and Ashford resembles nothing like this.
