East Coast diversions took place on Sunday 14th October 2012 via the Tyne Valley route. One of the diverted trains, the 11:44 Edinburgh to London King's Cross, is pictured entering Carlisle formed by East Coast HST powercars No. 43317 (front) and No. 43251 (rear).
