Four-wheel prototype railbus BR LEV1 No. RDB 975874 stands outside the display centre at the NRM 'Locomotion' Shildon on 8th October 2012. Built by BL Workington in 1979, the vehicle was first tested in East Anglia, before being exported to the United States in the early 1980's. Returning to Britain in 1987, the vehicle spent some time at the North Norfolk Railway before taking up residence at the NRM.
