In order to cover diagrams East Coast hired temporarily for a week a First Great Western HST set during late October early November 2011. On the 31st October 2011 it is pictured after arrival at Doncaster working the 9:30 King's Cross to Newcastle. Leading power car No. 43163 Exeter Panel Signalbox at the rear No. 43041 Meningitis Trust Support for Life. Tha attractive livery brings a new look to the East Coast.
