4 Canadian National locomotives head a long freight working through Jasper, Alberta on 11th September 2012, with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. The locomotives are headed by Type GF-643A No. 5678, then Type GF-30R No. 5299 and finally 2 Type EF-644B Nos 2699 and 2577. The consist is mainly grain from Saskatewan heading to Vancouver docks. Unfortunately black bears are killed by these trains in Jasper and Banff National Parks as the bears look for spilt grain by the rail side, a problem where Canadians are still looking for a solution.
