The first locomotive to see action in this year's Compo Club photo charter on the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway was Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 71515, seen making a run-past on the Big Pit branchline at Furnace Sidings with three rather decrepit NCB wagons in tow on 17th September 2012.
