With some of the Dean Forest Railways volunteers hard at work constructing a new build, ex-BR Class 201 DEMU No. 1001 accelerates away from Norchard Crossing high-level with the 14:45 to Parkend, on 15th September 2012. The Hastings unit had arrived with Hastings Diesels 'The Western Forester' charter and made two round trips between Norchard Crossing and Parkend as part of the diesel gala.
