Class 43 FGW HST power car No. 43163 brings up the rear of 1A94 16:00 Penzance to Paddington at St Erth on 3rd September 2012. The milepost shows 320 3/4 miles to London - but 1A94 will take the more leisurely 305 mile route via Athelney & the Berks & Hants. The Hayle by-pass bridge and embankment built in the late 80s is all but covered in foliage in recent years.
