It has been announced in early August 2012 that DB Schenker are now to refurbish Class 60 first-in-class No. 60001. Here No. 60001, then named Steadfast, is seen at Worksop Open Day on 5th September 1993, complete with Trainload Construction decals and Hither Green Oasthouses Depot plaque. On examination of the Brush works plates on one side the date of built was 1989 and on the other 1990, an indication of the time it took to accept the locomotive into traffic.
