LNER A4 4468 'Mallard' After arrival at Carlisle on 13th August 1988 with a railtour from York via Settle, which returned to York later, on a circular route via Newcastle. This was during the locos brief mainline career in the late 1980s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its world record for steam of 126MPH on 3rd July 1938
