Class 17 Clayton-built Bo-Bo No. D8521 is pictured stabled in sidings near to Egginton Junction, Derbyshire on 5th June 1977. Following withdrawal from active service in October 1968 the locomotive moved into departmental stock and operated under the jurisdiction of the Railway Technical Centre as a mobile power station and renumbered S18521. The locomotive was finally cut-up in April 1979.
