BRCW Class 33 No. 33106 is pictured at the leading end of a rake of empty coaching stock from Weymouth Quay station on 27th August 1989 along the Weymouth Tramway back to the main line station in readiness for the return journey. Although displaying route 90 in the 2-character headcode panel the train had earlier arrived at the quayside terminus as 1Z39, 0730 Burton-on-Trent to Weymouth Quay, a Lichfield Rail Promotion Group charter train. The Class 33 was used for the section along the Weymouth Harbour Tramway taking over from Class 47/4 No. 47532 that worked the train from Burton-on-Trent to the Weymouth Harbour branch junction and later in the day the 1800 Weymouth Town back to Burton-on-Trent.
