Drewry 204 hp 0-6-0 diesel shunting locomotive No D2295 (later classified as a Class 04)is pictured hauling a London Waterloo to Weymouth Quay 'Channel islands Boat Train' along the Weymouth Quay branch in July 1965. It was customary for a railway worker to walk ahead of the train to ensure that any obstruction could be dealt with appropriately as the train proceeded at a slow pace along the harbour tramway.
