GB Railfreight Class 66/7 No. 66709 Sorrento painted in the unique and distinctive MSC livery is pictured passing through Castle Gresley, Derbyshire on 27th July 2012 at the leading end of working 7X23, 0933 Derby Litchurch Lane to Old Dalby. The train is comprised of a new seven car S-stock unit Nos 113/114 for London Undergound that is sandwiched between the barrier vehicles and sister locomotive No. 66732 GBRf The First Decade 1999-2009 John Smith MD tailing the rear of the formation. The photograph was taken as the train made its way towards the Leicestershire test centre along the lightly-used freight-only line between Leicester Junction, Burton-on-Trent and Knighton Junction, Leicester.
