The BLS traction Depot at Brig on 18th May 1986 with two of the Class Ae 8/8 2xBo-Bo double electric locomotives, Nos 271 and 274, used for hauling heavy freight services over the Trains-Alpine route. This small class of only four double units has now been withdrawn.
