Greater Anglia Class 170 DMU No. 170204 heads into the golden evening sunshine as it crosses the Hundred Foot Washes, near Manea in Cambridgeshire, with the 17:49 Ipswich to Peterborough service on Tuesday 24th July 2012. Normally at this time of year the Washes would be a grassy meadow, but months of record-breaking rainfall have left them flooded even in high summer.
