Freshly outshopped in large logo blue livery Class 56 No 56036 stands on the up goods line adjacent to Burton-on-Trent station on 23 August 1978 having run round its train of empty HAA merry-go-round coal wagons. The train is waiting to cross over the main line south of the station to take the freight route to Coalville on the last leg of a trip working to Rugeley Power Station.
