British Rail Prototype English Electric Shunter No. D0226 stands in the rain soaked yard at Haworth, on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, on 3rd June 2012. One of two built in 1956 at the Vulcan Foundry, each with a 500 hp engine, D0226 had a diesel-electric transmission while D0227 was equipped with a diesel-hydraulic transmission.
