North Londons rubbish went west on the 24 May 2012, when the 08:21 Cricklewood travelled to Appleford instead of Calvert, its normal destination. This brought the unusual site of a Freightliner hauled waste train on the GWML as Class 66/5 66509 approaches Shottesbrooke, west of Maidenhead with the loaded train.
