What a great sight, 2 A4 Pacifics in garter blue livery and streamline valances grace the LNER Gala at Barrow Hill on 13th April 2012. No. 4464 Bittern was working a shuttle service while the world famous No. 4468 Mallard was sent from York Museum especially for the Gala.
