GWR 2-8-0 No. 3802 approaching Pentrefelin on the Llangollen Railway on 16th August 2011, with the 11.00 departure from Llangollen. Having spent six weeks camping next to Pentrefelin over the summer, the location has a certain appeal to me and offers a recreation of a double tracked rural GWR mainline, especially as Carrog bound trains run smokebox first.
