142049 stands at Liverpool Lime Street with the 0927 Northern Rail service to Manchester Oxford Road, with 142053 on the rear. The service was running slightly late and departed Lime Street at 0930. 142049 was sent to Expo 86 in Vancouver in 1986 and even carried the then PM-Margaret Thatcher, on board.
