Built in Doncaster in 1960, British Rail Class 04 0-6-0 DM Shunter No. D2280 initially worked out of Norwood Junction, until being withdrawn by BR in 1971. Sold on to Ford Ltd., it then worked at the Dagenham Plant, until later passing over the East Anglian Railway Museum in Colne. Seen here at Sheringham on 9th March 2012, during the NNRâ??s Spring Steam Gala, with an appeal for financial support of future restoration work.
