Class 172/3 No. 172332 departs from The Hawthorns on 27th January 2012, with the 10.39 Whitlock's End-Kidderminster. This stretch of line was abandonded in 1972 when the original Birmingham Snow Hill was closed but reinstated in 1994 when the new Snow Hill was opened and services to the Kidderminster line were diverted back from New St to Snow Hill.
