For a (too short) a period in mid 1990 Class 20s Top and Tailed the Derby to Matlock service while the usual DMUs were in short supply. Here No. 20087 passes under the tunnel approach to Belper with a Matlock service on 29th August 1990. 20058 in unseen at the rear.
