Class 1400 0-4-2T No. 1450 visiting the Ponypool & Blaenavon Railway during the official opening by Mr. Pete Waterman OBE of the heritage railway's extension south to Blaenavon’s High Level Station. No. 1450 was coupled to a restored GWR auto-coach No. 178. Mr. Waterman’s attendance was on the 17th September 2010 where as this photograph was taken during the heritage railway's annual Gala on the 19th September 2010 which also celebrated the 175 years anniversary of the GWR. No. 1450 also carried an appropriate anniversary plate on its smoke box door.
