CP ALCo No. 1501 arrives at Faro on the morning of Friday 19th May 2000. It's working IR870 the 07.40 Vila Real de Santo Antonio to Barreiro, a semi regular working for the class at this time. Built at Schenectady, NY, USA in 1948, these and the slightly later 1521 class were all re-powered with ALCo 251 series engines in the 1970's.
