A rare sight on the Ely to Peterborough line sees Devon and Cornwall Railways (British American Railway Services)-liveried Class 56 No. 56311 head light engine through Whittlesey in Cambridgeshire. Seen here set against the chimneys of the local brickworks, the locomotive was working the 0Z31 Washwood Heath to Harwich service, where it was destined to take charge of a train of tanks on 30th November 2011.
