Struggling to see the road ahead in the bright afternoon sunshine, HRH The Duke of Gloucester is on the regulator of No. 71000 Duke of Gloucester at the start of a members special round trip of the Nene Valley Railway.
The Duke took the regulator for the first part of the trip from Wansford to Yarwell and back before alighting to open the new 'Barnwell Tea room' at Wansford Station and taking a tour of the locomotive sheds and workshops.
