For the second successive day chaos reigns on the WCML north of Stafford. A major signalling problem on the afternoon of 24/8/11 at Norton Bridge caused an hours delay to down trains and an unknown problem north of Stableford on the morning of 25th August 2011 saw all down trains using the Slow Line with the exception of NR Class 37 No. 97303 seen creeping slowly forward on the Down Fast at Stableford.
