Running some 78 minutes late, this Birmingham - Reading service powered by Class 31/4 No. 31414 had failed, and was rescued by Class 37s Nos. 37350 (D6700) and 37280 which made quite a sight. The ensomble is pictured at Reading Station on 9th August 1989.
