Prior to its arrival at the Northampton and Lamport Railway this DMU was used as a Fire Brigade training vehicle, now Class 117 Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) Nº No. 51359, built in 1960, is stored in the Pitsford sidings as a source for spares.
