No. 350253 on the 13.36 Euston-Crewe via Stoke service starts to slow to cross on to the North Staffs branch at Norton Bridge as it passes Worston on 18th April 2011.NR have published proposals to alleviate the flat crossing to the North Staffs branch at Norton Bridge and one option would see a new line diverging from the Down Slow line almost at this location and then heading through fields to the west before flying over the WCML north of Norton Bridge.
