Pictured departing the yard in Laurens, SC are Carolina Piedmont Railroad GP38-2's no. 3881 and 3899. The locomotives are heading out to service a number of industrial customers along the 34-mile branch to East Greenville. Lead locomotive no. 3881 still bears the mark of the Chicago, Fort Wayne and Eastern Railroad. Both the Carolina Piedmont and Chicago, Fort Wayne and Eastern railroads are owned by holding company RailAmerica, Inc. Friday, on 8th April 2011.
