BR Caprotti '5' No. 73149 waiting in Perth General station with an Aberdeen to Glasgow Buchannan Street 3 hour express on Monday 19th July 1965. Not the anticipated 'A4', but nevertheless a fine sight. The Aberdeen services now run via Dundee and have to use the two curving platforms to the right, departs from the main part of the station to Inverness line services and terminators.
