Seen through the footbridge to Charnwood Water Park are LMS ‘Jinty’ Class 3F 0-6-0T No. 47406 heading south, out of Loughborough, with the 12.55 9C23 freight set to Rothley Brook, while GWR 28xx 2-8-0 No.2807, with the 12.42 9D15 Minerals freight service from Rothley Brook, heads in the opposite direction during GCRs ‘Gr8 Escape - GWSR Emergency Appeal Event’ on 9th April 2011.
