On mileage accumulation runs new Class 379 have become a familiar sight during the past few weeks on the WCML. No. 379012 & 379013 head down the Slow Line at Sytch Lane Millmeece on such a run from Northampton to Crewe. Each unit appears to have a roof mounted spotlight pointing towards the pantograph which can just be made out on the photograph on 5th April 2011.
