One of the attractions of the S&C is that much of the old infrastructure survives. As No. 158815 approaches Kirkby Stephen on the 14.49 Leeds-Carlisle, as well as the semaphore signals the ex MR Goods Shed remains intact and little altered though it is in commercial use and note the MR milepost which shows the mileage from St. Pancras on 21st March 2011.
