Not quite the ex NER G5 it purports to be, but perhaps one day if the Wensleydale Railway eventually connects Hawes to Garsdale we will see a real G5 in Hawes station. Not so far beyond possibility as a replica G5 is well on the way to completion. The Wensleydale Railway will then have a real purpose instead of going from nowhere to nowhere as at present!.
