Compared with former days the facilities on the Up platform at Harrogate are spartan to say the least with only a 'bus shelter' for protection from the elements. Class 144 No. 144004 in the recently applied Northern Rail livery calls on 09.10 York-Leeds service, thankfully on a dry summer day on 11th August 2009.
